The People’s Platform

Today, the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales has launched ‘The People’s Platform’ (powered by SenseMaker®) – a storytelling digital platform to collect and curate a national bank of experiences and ideas to help us as we work towards the Wales we want.

This story-gathering platform gives the opportunity for people across Wales to share their experiences on the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales six priority areas: Transport, Skills for the Future, Social Prescribing, Housing Stock, Planning, Adverse Childhood Experiences.

It will also support public bodies in delivering on the five ways of working, testing new ways of doing things, and provide access to data and filter stories by location, theme and well-being goal.

Sophie Howe, Future Generations Commissioner for Wales said:

“Sharing stories with one another is one of the most powerful and insightful ways of ways of gaining a deeper understanding of the lives we lead, the challenges we face and our hopes and dreams.

‘I want to hear from people from all walks of life, whatever your story, so that we can collectively start to build a movement of change that reflects the aspirations and ambitions of the Well-being of Future Generations Act.”
