Digital Team Support (Full Time)

Fixed term contract 22/07/19-30/09/19

Pay scale range £19,240 to £ 22,550 per annum

Are you someone who is constantly curious – always seeking the latest trends in digital platforms and apps, with a talent for spotting what’s next?

Changing culture in the public sector, improving the social, economic, environmental and cultural well-being of Wales and protecting the interests of future generations, all fall within the remit of the Well-being of Future Generations Act. The Future Generations Commissioner for Wales and her team are tasked with helping to make this happen.

Focusing on developing our digital capacity and capability, the Commissioner is seeking someone who is passionate, people-centred and able to bring the Well-being of Future Generations Act to life in order to secure the change needed from the willing and the not so willing.

As Digital Innovator you will influence how we bring to life the work of the Commissioner and her team, using cutting-edge digital platforms and engagement techniques to reach out to people.

Is this you?

Do you enjoy creating visual and audio media including infographics, podcasts or videos?

Are you keen to support the people you work with by sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them get the best out of technology, social media and digital design apps?

We are an organisation which likes to think differently, to question and to try new ways of doing things, encouraging creativity and new ideas.

To thrive in this role you will be a good communicator who avoids waffle, endorsing the Commissioner’s approach of being practical, straight-talking and constructively challenging.

So we are looking for someone who is not shy in coming forward with ideas and who will also take responsibility for implementing the ones that fly.

In return we are happy to consider fully-supported remote and agile working practices; flexible working arrangements and all types of secondments, joint working or collaboration agreements.
