Play your part in enabling local people to come together in communities to meet and build social networks

1

Problem

There is a perception that many public bodies do not value or enable the simplest ways of communities coming together. It is vital that residents do not see their local authority or other public bodies as a barrier to coming together, due to issues of compliance, regulations and insurance.

2

Simple Change

Public bodies need to help create conditions where local residents can come together, build social networks and friendships, as these are the essential social capital we need to build cohesive communities.

Case Study
