Facilitate opportunities for volunteering with environmental organisations during or outside of work
Problem
There is often a desire amongst employees to do more work to protect the natural environment, as well as greater recognition of the role we all play as individuals in reducing our waste and energy demand and supporting biodiversity.
Simple Change
Enabling staff to spend time volunteering with environmental organisations, during or outside of work, can boost staff morale, team-building, knowledge of the environment, improve mental and physical health as well as enable collaborative management of local green spaces.
