Simple Changes #64

Ensure your organisation takes part in Fair Trade Fortnight

1

Problem

A third of the world‘s population live on less than a dollar a day and the current trading system is failing them. Fair Trade can help change this. The £6billion public purse in Wales is a powerful tool to deliver social, environmental, cultural and economical sustainability. Behind everything we buy is a person, and by paying that person a fair price for goods, we can support them to send their children to school, put food on the table and plan for the future.

Simple Change

By learning about Fair Trade and taking part in this exciting annual activity, we can learn more about how our daily products are made and about the lives of the people upon whom we depend. By supporting Fair Trade you empower millions of producers worldwide to take control of their future and to develop their communities.
