Ensure continued free access to museums, libraries and green spaces

Problem

The 2018/19 Welsh Government budget announced budget cuts to the National Museums of Wales, from £22.6m to £21.6m, even though visits to museums bring in £73.8 million to the economy, as well as priceless benefits to our well-being. Having access to arts, cultural and green spaces are beneficial for all of our well-being, both as individuals and as communities.

It is vital that public bodies in Wales ensure continued free access to museums, libraries and green spaces, to support their local communities to access the variety of cultural activities and opportunities on offer to them in these spaces
